Wednesday 3rd Oct 2012, Aberystwyth, UK: Superintendant IAN JOHN (uniformed) at a press conference updating information on the search for missing 5 year old girl APRIL JONES. He requested that members of the public refrain from trying to help in the search for the girl, and to leave it to the teams of skilled professionals. He also noted that forensic tests on the vehicle recovered were being 'fast tracked' but that results had not yet been received. A 46 year old local man remains in custody. Although not named by the police, local sources have identified him as former soldier MARK BRIDGER.
