NORFOLK (June 16, 2017) Aviation Support Equipment Technician 3rd Class Gerald Palmieri performs a takedown on Machinist's Mate 3rd Class Felipe Machado after being sprayed with oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray during Security Reaction Force - Basic (SRF-B) training aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Wasp is currently preparing for their upcoming homeport shift to Sasebo, Japan where they are slated to relieve the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
