View of Auchinstarry Marina near Kilsyth on the Forth & Clyde Canal with boats participating in 10 years reopening celebrations

Editorial use only. The Forth & Clyde Canal forms part of the The Millennium Link Running from Bowling at the Clyde end, through Glasgow to Grangemouth at the Forth end. It was reopened in 2001 as part of the £78m Millennium Link project - the largest canal restoration ever in Britain. Its 35 miles and 39 locks cross the Scottish Lowlands. This image was taken on the occasion of the sail through to celebrate the ten years anniversary of the reopening.
