This image was shot with an antique 3¼ inch Petzval lens and will show signs of distortion and softness, especially towards the edges. This is intentional and part of the aesthetic. This snow-covered 1980 Ford L9000 dump truck was left abandoned along the side of the road, at Eagle View, in the Cabinet Mountains, of Sanders County, Montana. The truck was used as part of a small shale quarry operation at the top of Eagle View lane. After ti wore out from years of hard service, it was left abandoned on the side of the mountain road, just below the quarry. The quarry is still in operation.
