A sleeping potion and spoon lie on a table, and a Health Diary on the floor. Illustration drawn and engraved on steel by Richard Dagley from his own Death’s Doings, Consisting of Numerous Original Compositions in Verse and Prose, J. Andrews, London, 1827. Dagley (1761-1841) was an English painter, illustrator and engraver.
