JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (June 13, 2017) – Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Adam Petree, of Naval Hospital Jacksonville’s Staff Education and Training, instructs Christian Corpus, a Darnell-Cookman School of the Medical Arts student, on starting intravenous fluids on a simulated patient. Eleven high school students are participating in the hospital’s Science, Service, Medicine and Mentoring (S2M2) summer internship. The goal of S2M2 is to nurture the next generation of health care professionals.
