He is noted for siring colts and fillies that are endowed with early and extreme speed. During 1910 six of his get took records, and four were three-year-olds and under. In 1911 Adansel, a three-year-old, obtained his mark of 2:14%, while Prince Lot and Wesos lowered their records. In 1912 Lottie Ansel, a two-year-old won all the Futurities she started in, getting a mark of 2:14%, the Coast record for fillies, and heads all record-holders of her age in America for the year. Arista Ansel, another two-year-old Futurity winner got a record of 2:18*4. while Prince Lot lowered his record to 2:07%.
