There are also 33 free medi-cal dispensaries, 59 asylums, including the CookCounty Insane Asylum and the county poor-house, both of which are situated at Dunning,outside the city limits. Churches.— Religious organizations numbersome 919 churches and missions. Of these themost numerous are the 70 churches and 14missions of the Baptists, the 79 churches and20 missions of the Congregationalists, the 47churches and 6 missions of the Episcopalians, 1.
