In Fig. 53 the right pelvis issituated opposite the fifth lumbar vertebra. The calycesare normal, and thus demonstrate that no marked ureteralobstruction is present. The course of the ureter is outlinedby the opaque catheter. If silver solution had outlinedits course, it would have been more tortuous and wouldnot have been displaced so far to the left.
