The Greek Island of Lesvos or Lesbos is situated just off the Coast of Turkey. The island is the 3rd largest Greek Island after Cyprus and Crete. It is a very green island and a popular holiday destination for chilling out. Skala Kalloni sits on a huge inlet of sea that is rather like a lake and is surrounded by countryside and wetlands making it a perfect place for Migrating Birds including Flamingos , storks, colourful bee-eaters and a host of other birds. A large nature reserve lies all around the fishing village and the inlet is famous for its sardines
