Air Force Master Sgt. Thomas Ricketson, a medic with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), travels on a Air Force C-17 (GlobeMaster) to Lao People's Democratic Republic March 4, 2017. DPAA team members deployed to the area in hopes of recovering several Service members who were missing in action during the Vietnam War. The mission of DPAA is to provide the fullest possible accounting for our missing personnel to their families and the nation.
