C. E. Fuller. Mr. C. E. Fuller, first vice-president ofthe Master Car Builders Association, be-gan his railroad career as draftsman withthe Vandalia in 1880. In 1889 he was ap-pointed general foreman of the Hornellshops on the Erie. In 1890 he was mademaster mechanic of the New York divi-sion of the Erie. In 1892 he was ap-. J. S. M. C. B. Assn. pointed superintendent of motive powerof the central Vermont, with office at \lbans, Vt. He returned to the Erie in1901, as assistant mechanical superintend-ent. In 1903 he was appointed superin-tendent of motive power of the Chicago& Alton, and in 1908 he entered theservice of the Lnion Pacific, and afterserving for some time as superintendent ofmotive power, he was appointed assistantgeneral manager, which position he stillholds. J. S. Lentz. ]\Ir. John S. Lentz, treasurer M. C. , entered the service of theLehigh Valley Railroad Company in 1865,and has continued in the service of thecompany up to the present time. Duringthe period from 1880 to date he has beensuperintendent of the car department, as-sistant superintendent of motive has been particularly active in thewelfare of the M. C. B. .Association.
