Shot at St. Leonards-on-Scii on April 12th, 1915. somewhat resembles Sedge-Wai'])ler but crown is blacker, upper-parts more chestnut, eye-stripe whiter. under-i)arts more rufous-buif not so yellowish, bill is more com])ressed not so flat and wide, first primary is much larger and wing much rounder, tail-feathers more graduated. It was shot on May 2()th, 1915, close to Holmhurst. on the outskirts of Hastings and St. Leonards. 1 am infdnncd tlial on dissection it proved to be a male.
