Sponsored by Africa Command (AFRICOM) and facilitated by Naval Forces Europe-Africa, Phoenix Express is designed to improve regional cooperation, increase maritime domain awareness information sharing practices, and operational capabilities to enhance efforts to achieve safety and security in the Mediterranean Sea.
