Blackpool, Lancashire, UK. 27th June, 2019. Hot weather for animals in Blackpool Zoo as keepers give Kate, a 15 year old Asian Elephant a power shower. Kate nicknamed ‘Cheeky’ is one of a group of elephants in a conservation project at the zoo. She alone among the herd enjoys a regular wash at about 2pm before rolling in the wet sand.
