The droppings board is 3 x G ft., and on hinges which canbe made at any blacksmiths shop — a four inch eye threaded— which is screwed into the corner upright, and into anotherupright six feet away: the hinge is made with an L tofit the eye, rounded. The roosts are made of three inchfurring — two pieces 6 ft. long, 14 in. apart, and two ft. long — and put on hinges the same as the droppingsboard, and attached to the same uprights, only 8 in. abovedroppings board, which is one foot above the lower stringer. A Hat trough, 10 in. wide and 6 ft. long, veith 4 in. endsand sides, is placed between the two uprights close to thewall; this trough catches all the droppings as the droppingsboard is raised up to the
