Bolton. 23rd. March 2017:A small group of anti-fracking protesters held a protest outside , a civil engineering business, which won a £ million contract to build the drilling pad for Cuadrillas controversial shalegas exploratory fracking site on land belonging to Little Plumpton Hall farm near Blackpool. Protesters arrived before 06:00hrs. this morning and two protesters locked themselves together across the entrance to one of business premises. Several protesters stood in front of the gates of their premises across the road. Police managed to persuade the protesters to unlock themselves and leave the site around 11:00hrs. One local protester said he was surprised that a company would associate themselves with the fracking business as they have a good reputation.
