Wild carrot or Daucus carota

Daucus carota or wild carrot, commonly found in grasslands, on roadsides, the frothy umbellifer is also known as Queen Anne's lace. There is a tiny red flower at the centre of each flower head. The root is edible but tougher than cultivated carrots.
