The main floor is laid with %-in. matchedteak boards and secured at all bearings with barbed-wire prevent the car from sagging, a substantial truss is pro-vided, supported in the center by two wrought-iron standards. 3-ft. x 5-in. steel angles, and are secured to the ends of theplatform to protect them from injury in case of are slotted and pins provided to enable hauling of cars.
