An Afghan National Army soldier with 2nd Kandak, 4th Brigade, 215th Corps fires a 60mm mortar during a live-fire range at Camp Shorabak, Afghanistan, June 10, 2017. More than 20 soldiers with the unit’s heavy weapons company practiced firing non-explosive illumination rounds in order to build hands-on ability with the weapon. A group of Marine advisors with Task Force Southwest are assisting instructors with the Helmand Regional Military Training Center to enhance the warfighting capabilities of the 2nd Kandak, 4th Brigade.
