Glass floor in Acropolis Museum, Athens reveals early classical ruins

The museum was opened in 2009 to house all the artefacts from the Acropolis and hopefully in the future the Elgin Marbles currently in the British Museum, London. The museum is built on pillars over ruins and foundations from Byzantine and Classical eras. These are revealed through a glass floor.
