Brewer's Vat of Queen Mother Ankhenes-Pepi, Old Kingdom, Dynasty 6, ca. 2246–2152 , From Egypt; Probably from Memphite Region, Saqqara, South Saqqara, Travertine (Egyptian alabaster), H. × diam. cm (6 13/16 × 4 1/2 in.); spout L. cm (9/16 in), This miniature spouted basin on a stand is copied from a large pottery brewer's vat that would have rested on a woven reed stand. It was probably part of the funerary equipment of Queen Mother Ankhnes-Pepi or of her son Pepi II
