Men from the community in Niamey, Niger work together to sacrifice sheep as part of the celebration of Tabaski (Eid-al-Adha) . On this occasion over 100 sheep were sacrificed as part of this Muslim festival, with all members of the community participating in the ritual killing, preparation and consumption of the sheep. The meat is traditionally split between the family sacrificing the animal, the friends & neighbours of the family, and the poor.
