THE JUDGES CAUGHT NAPPING. The judges of these competitions made amistake. They awarded a prize to an excellent ad-vertisement that wrongly credited some linesof Tennysons to Sir Walter Scott. The keen-eyed critics came ravening fortheir prey, and the judges fell upon theirfaces and humbled themselves, crying, Pec-cavimus ! Have they any excuses? No matter.
