Ringerkolonade, The Wrestling colonnade outside the State Parliament building Lustgarten. Potsdam. The Colonnade was originally one of two barriers that separated the Lustgarten area from the rest of the city. It was built in the mid-1740s when the City Palace was converted into the residence of the Prussian King Frederick II. It was severely damaged during WWll and a section of it was reconstructed near the Palace in the 1969
