If thetumor is removed before it has extended tothe broad ligament, the uterus, and otheradjacent parts, a permanent cure is removed a sarcoma of the ovary, andthe patient remained in good health elevenyears after the operation. Vagina.—Sarcoma of the vagina is foundas a diffuse affection in children ; in the adultit presents itself as a firm, circumscribedtumor manifesting little tendency to degene-ration.
