Air Force Airmen assigned to the 386th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron came together and wear their hair in braids to honor the recent changes made to the Air Force Instruction 36-2903 regarding female hair standards at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, February 10, 2021. Women in the USAF are now able to wear their hair in up to two braids or a single ponytail with bulk not exceeding the width of the head and length not extending below a horizontal line running between the top of each sleeve inseam at the under arm through the shoulder blades.
