Esther Adolfine Freud (1862-1942), sister of Sigmund Freud. Dolfi, as she was known, was the sixth of eight children of Jacob Freud and his third wife Amalia. Sigmund was the eldest of the eight. She remained in the family home in Vienna, Austria, to care for her parents, never marrying. During the Second World she was captured by the Nazi's and died in the Theresienstadt concentration camp.
