I think lots of the white clover has winter-killed, but not enough to affect seriously the pasturage. When the bees are on the summer stands I can give a uiore definite report. The last two nights and two days have been rainy, the temperature has gotten down to 80 degrees, and alttrnating drifts of rain and snow, w ith a northeast wind that indicates a rough night, and it's a comfort to know that my bees in the cellar won't know it. It's an ill wind that doesn't blow somebody some good. My bees w ould have been on the sum- mer stands if I had not gotten hurt, or could have gotten some one with grit enough to put them out for me.
