Plants only one year old and not more than ten to fifteen nches high produce their delicious blossoms which are succeeded by fruit. Nothing can be more ornamental and attractive in a col- lection of pot plants, than one of these minute orange trees, with half a dozen or more of their bright colored fruits on, which get to be about one-third or one half the size of the regular oranges. Plants are of the easiest culture and can be kept in a cellar over winter if no other place can be provided for them. Small plants by mail, 20 cents; large plants of bearing size by express, 50 cents. Given away as a premium. Try one of them. Fruit edible. Mrs. H. B, from Bryan, Texas, writes:âThe Dwarf Oranges I bought of you last season are now bushes about 3 feet high and loaded with fruit, they are the admiration of our town. The Crotons are among the finest decorative foliage plants. The leaves of all are more or less veined and margined, sometimes en- tirely variegated with shades of yellow, orange and crimson. Some have long narrow leaves, arched gracefully, fountain fashion; oth- ers broad and short, oak-leaved ; some recurved very much, others twisted cork-screw like. Crotons love heat, sunshine and moisture. Price, 25 cents each. CYPERUS ALTERNIFOLIUS. A plant of peculiar formation, it produces many smooth, erect growing stems about two feet high, which are crowned with a bunch of long narrow leaves, giving it a close resemblance to an umbrella,^ for which reason it is frequently called the Umbrella Plant, it is desirable for garden decoration, and will also succeed' well when grown in water.
