A group of South African high school children and volunteer staff on a hike up Table Mountain, Camps Bay, Cape Town, South Africa. This hike is part of The Environmental Education Program run by the South African Education & Environment Project. It uses exposure to nature and physical challenge to build environmental awareness, teamwork and leadership for high school children who attend under-resourced township schools, it aims to prepare kids to succeed in further education and employment.
