IMPROVEMENTS IN JACKSON, STOCK -NEW ROLLING FREIGHT TRAILERS FOR OHIO-INDIANA SERVICES Since the Jackson Railway & Light Company came, abouta year ago, under the control of a Louisville syndicate whichalso owns properties at Scranton, Miss., and Rome, Ga., thesystem has developed considerably. At present, a newpower plant and a new car house and shop are in the course. The Indiana, Columbus & Eastern Traction Companyput on a limited passenger service between Columbus andZanesville, Ohio, Jan. i. Two limited cars are run dailyeach way, with intermediate stops only at Hebron and New-ark, and about an hour is cut from the regular running timebetween the two points.
