Moira Furnace Museum located near to Swadlincote in South Derbyshire, it was originally a 19th century blast furnace built in 1806 to produce iron but closed in 1811,t he adjoining buildings were used as housing for local mine workers until the 1970's-the Museum and boat trips open from April to October
