Female manikins, dressed in vintage clothes, sitting in an old open-top Mercedes car, outside the Traffic People store in the Market Hall of London's Old Spitalfields Market. Traffic People, rooted in the market stalls of Portabello Road and Camden, opened its first store, in East London, in 2002. It quickly supplied vintage clothes, in the styles of the 1920s and 1930s, to boutiques throughout Britain, quickly followed by a distribution network throughout Europe and the World. A small, in-house design team creates elegant and wearable designs, including jumpsuits, boleros, capes, cocktail dresses and maxis. Later styles include a 1950s wiggle dress and swing skirt, as well as 1970s disco glamour.
