Evidently these Mennonites are not of the ultra-plain variety. They have no feeling against mechanization. Notice the herd of milk , and the barn that has been built for them. This Mennonite farms as much as possible in the way that he has always farmed back East, and apparently he has made good even here in the Dust Bowl.
