Jellyfish (phylum Cnidaria) in a rock pool. Jellyfish are free swimming aquatic invertebrates. They swim by contracting and relaxing their bell. Jellyfish catch their prey, which includes fish, crustaceans and plankton, using clumps of stinging cells (nematocysts) on their tentacles. The tentacles then move the prey to the mouth on the underside of the bell. Photographed in Greece.
