In this photograph taken on February 28, 1967, during the Vietnam War, a captured Soviet anti-tank grenade launcher, specifically the RPG-2 CHICOM Type 56, is displayed. The weapon was one of 40 RPG-2s captured from North Vietnamese Army (NVA) troops by the 3rd Marine Division. The photograph is credited to SSgt. Magness and was taken as part of the Defense Department's documentation efforts.
