MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Dec. 8, 2016) Rear Adm. Jim Malloy, commander of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group (Ike CSG), speaks to the crew of the guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) on the ship’s flight deck during his first visit to an Ike CSG ship in the Mediterranean Sea. Roosevelt, deployed as part of the Ike CSG, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
