Screamin' Rebels T-6 Aerobatic Team photographed at Thunder Over Michigan Air Show (2009)

North American T-6 Texan photographed at the 2009 Thunder over Michigan Air Show, Willow Run Airport, Ypsilanti, Michigan (USA). The T-6 was one of the most widely used trainer aircraft in WWII. In the United States (where it was used by Army Air Corps and later by all branches of armed forces) it is nicknamed the "Texan." In the RAF and RCAF it is the "Harvard." In Korea and Vietnam the T-6 saw service as a forward air control aircraft where it was called the "Mosquito." Also known among warbird afficionados as the "IGOTTAGETMEONEOFTHOSE." These two are part of the Screamin' Rebels Formation Aerobatic Team.
