In 1872 the present brewery was erected,which is substantially constructed of brick, the mainbuilding being 125x100 feet in dimensions and fourstories in height. There are also a number of otherbuildings, as malt houses, store houses, boiler. THE BOULEVARD BREWERY. house, ice houses, etc. The entire premises covernearly a whole block and have a frontage of twohundred and fifty feet on the Boulevard and extendto the rear on Columbia and Fulton Streets a dis-tance of three hundred feet. The brewery is one ofthe largest in Hudson County and is fitted up andsupplied with the most perfect machinery and appli-ances used in the business, and known to modernscience, and is complete in every department, in chargeof skilled, practical brewers, who are under the imme-diate supervision of the proprietor. The beer fromthe Boulevard Brewer\- is well known and popular,and is in great demand in New York and the sur-rounding cities and towns. In its production onlythe best materials are used and careful attention isgiven to its preparation in all the various departmentsit goes through. Bermes lager beer has beenbrought in;o direct competition with that of otherbreweries in this vicinity at Hoboken, and received
