The smaller Smith-Vale duplex steam actuated compressor has a capacityof 400 to 500 cubic feet per minute, compressed to 100pounds, with an available steam pressure of 100 poundsper square inch. This compressor has steam cylinders12 inches in diameter, with a low-pressure air cylinder18 inches in diameter, and high-pressure cylinder 12inches in diameter, all 12 inches stroke.
