Domogled National Park / Romania - Waterfall in the primary beech forest in Iauna Craiove UNESCO World Nature Heritage component part.

Domogled - Valea Cernei National Park / Romania - Waterfall in primeval forest in Iauna Crave UNESCO World Natural Heritage area. Romania hosts the largest remains of primeval forest in Europe. Tragically, this outstanding natural heritage is being destroyed at a fast pace. Even in National Parks such as Domogled - Valea Cernei logging of ancient paradise forests continues. More than 50% of the park's surface is not under strict protection. Although located in the middle of the National Park, many untouched forest stands are being cut down in front of the eyes of the Government and authorities.
