Brown bears (Ursus arctos) walking on the coast. An adult brown bear can reach a length of up to three metres and a body weight of up to 780 kilograms. It has an omnivorous diet that includes a variety of plants, berries, roots, fungi, moths, fish (mainly salmon), clams and small mammals.
