A wheellock "Puffer", Nuremberg(?), circa 1580. Octagonal barrel, merging to round after a narrow baluster, smooth bore in 15 mm calibre. Chiselled wheellock with an exterior wheel and a faucet-shaped mark at the end of the lockplate. Later walnut stock and ramrod richly inlaid with bone and mother-of-pearl. Iron trigger guard.
