Benjamin Disraeli, First Earl of Beaconsfield (1804-1881), 1852. By Sir Francis Grant (1803-1878). This portrait was painted free of charge by Grant in 1852, when Disraeli became Chancellor of the Exchequer. He served in government spanning four decades, twice as Prime Minister of Great Britain.
