The Visitor Education Center in the Upper Geyser Basin, Yellowstone National Park, located about 200 yards from Old Faithful.
The new Visitor Education Center (opened 2010) is positioned next to the Old Faithful Inn, between the Snow Lodge and Old Faithful Geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin, and replaces an earlier facility on the same site. Construction was jointly funded by the National Park Service and the Yellowstone Park Foundation. The center is one of the first National Park Service visitor centers to achieve LEED Gold certification.
