The gates may be recognised,and the area within the walls is full of ruins ofhouses now scarcely rising above ground, amongwhich it is easy to follow the lines of the oldstreets. Fig. 120) con-sists of a nave and aisles, the nave ending with anapse, which however does not project beyond the lineof the aisles, but is included within the rectangularplan of the outer walls.
