Listed buildings have to be handled with due care and consideration, yet they sometimes merit a bold approach. In this case the Grade II listed Battersea house was completely redesigned and new additions were formulated to increase the internal accommodation. In doing so the interesting architectural features were retained that merited the building's original ‘listing’ status.
