Why is it we so seldom see a good col-lection of carnations in our gardens ? Thisquestion is answered by most persons, bysaying that the climate does not suit am inclined to think this a mistake. InGermany the Carnation is raised in verygreat perfection, and the climate there isexceedingly like our own. I am well convinced that it is not theclrmate.
