H Wills at work in one of Laing's research and development labs, applying coloured concrete to a piece of carved stonework. The work that was carried out in this particular lab involved preparing colour matching concretes for the repair of stone for Laing's specialist activities such as Laing Stonemasonry. The process involved mixing many different types and colours of sand to find the best match.
